The Idaho Statesman is proud to announce our 5th annual Chalk Art Festival, in conjunction with the City of Boise's Fireworks Celebration.

Who?

Idaho Statesman Chalk Art Festival is a celebration of art. We highlight featured local artists who donate their time to create wonderful works of art at our festival. We invite anyone who would like to express their artistic talent with chalk to participate.  We provide Chalk Land, a separate and free area for children 11 and younger who want to draw with chalk and create their own sidewalk chalk art.

The public is invited to watch the chalk artists create their designs.  Public voting for favorite artists will is ongoing throughout the festival.

Where?

The Festival takes place on the west side of Ann Morrison Park, near the entrance to Americana Boulevard. Throughout the day, spectators are encouraged to drop voting tokens at their favorite chalk art drawings culminating in a People's Choice Award.
